Pickleball in Osoyoos

On Saturday April 6th 2019, Kelowna Secondary School hosting the 5th annual Kelowna Indoor Pickleball Fun Tournament. Congrats to Don Brain for his gold medal in the 4.0 Mixed division. Dave Hobs won 2 medals, placing 3rd in the morning session and 2nd in the afternoon session in the Mixed 4.0 division. Congratulations guys!

On March 16, 2019 Predator Ridge in Vernon held their first pickleball tournament showcasing the top players coming from all over the Okanagan, from Kamloops to Osoyoos. Congrats to Phil Soo and Paul Couch for placing 3rd in the Men's Doubles Open Division. Thanks to Predator Ridge for hosting such a great tournament!

A big thank you to Kham Douanypanya, Sunny Sidhu and Paul Couch for removing the old lines and taping the new lines at Desert Park! It took 3 guys 3 hours to complete this process. They were on their hands and knees with a heat gun and solution to remove the previous tape. The lesson learned is to never use any other tape besides court tape specifically designed to be put down on gym floors. Happy new year and happy pickleballing!
